Gould Turner Group has completed the design for the new 64-bed Oviedo Medical Center to be built on 48 acres in Oviedo, Florida. Construction of the new facility will begin Fall 2015, and it is expected to open by Fall 2016. The new hospital will integrate the existing freestanding emergency center on site, which opened in 2011. Oviedo Medical Center will provide full service healthcare to the area including, diagnostic, surgical, laboratory, and pharmacy services. The patient care areas will include 48 Medical/Surgical beds, 10 ICU beds, and 6 Labor Delivery suites. The building is structured to add an additional 120 beds in the future as the needs of the community grow.
