Spring Hill, FL – Oak Hill Hospital is pleased to announce that it has been approved for an additional $6.3 million for the adding of a fourth floor to its North Tower. This is in addition to the third floor/Obstetrics project already under construction. The cost of the obstetrics project is $13.7 million bringing this year’s total investment in the community to $20 million.
“Three North” will be the new obstetrical unit and “Four North” will be shelled in for the future expansion.
“In the last 10 years HCA has invested almost $120 million in new facilities and equipment at Oak Hill,” said CEO Mickey Smith. “This investment has been required because of the tremendous growth in patients and services at Oak Hill. Our growth is the direct result of our staff’s conveying their personal mission statement in what they do every day for our patients and the community,” he added.
The architectural firm that has been chosen to oversee the project is Gould Turner Group, PC, 4400 Harding Road, Suite 100, Nashville, TN 37205. The general contractor for the project is Brasfield & Gorrie, 2636 Elm Hill Pike, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37214.
