Wesley is kicking off construction for their $28 million Wesley Children’s Hospital.
Governor Brownback, Wesley medical officials and Wichita council woman Lavonta Williams will join tomorrow’s brick wall “knock down” ceremony that will unveil the hospital’s new name and brand. The event takes place at 10 a.m..
Wesley originally announced their plan for the region’s first and only children’s hospital earlier this year.
The project includes adding 15 new, all-private beds to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a complete renovation of the PICU. It will also include construction on the Hillside-facing exterior and renovations of the entrance, lobby and elevators.
