Project Facts
Location: Kalispell, Montana
Size: 131,700 SF
Market: Healthcare
Services: Planning, Programming, Architecture, Interiors
Scope: New Surgical Hospital and Imaging Center
This new freestanding surgical and diagnostic hospital is attached to Kalispell Regional Medical Center by an underground connector. With separate entrances for surgery and diagnostics, the facility features six operating rooms (with capability for expansion to eight), a distinct eye surgery center, and 20 inpatient beds.
The diagnostic center houses mammography, ultrasound, CT scan, magnetic resonance imaging, and R&F modalities. Underground parking provides 65 spaces for patients, physicians, and visitors.
Interiors take advantage of the nearby mountain vistas through vast expanses of glass, and the use of copper and stone reflect the region’s history as a mining area.
