Oviedo Medical Center
Location: Oviedo, Florida
Services: Architecture and Interiors
Scope: New Acute Care Hospital
Oviedo Medical Center is a LEED-certified 64-bed acute care hospital situated on 48 acres. The hospital integrated an existing Free Standing ED (FSED) into its design. Strategically planned phasing allowed the FSED to remain operational throughout construction.
Oviedo Medical Center provides full-service healthcare to its community, including diagnostic, surgical, emergency, critical care, and support services. Patient care beds include 48 medical-surgical beds, ten critical care beds, and six Labor Delivery Recovery suites.
The hospital was designed to expand both vertically and horizontally in the future and has the ability to double in bed capacity.
