Opened in 2017, Oviedo Medical Center is a newly designed, LEED certified, 64-bed acute care hospital situated on 48 acres. The hospital integrated an existing Free Standing ED (FSED) into its design. Strategically planned phasing allowed the FSED to remain operational throughout construction.
Oviedo Medical Center provides full-service healthcare to its community, including diagnostic, surgical, emergency, critical care, and support services. Patient care beds include 48 medical/surgical beds, 10 critical care beds, and 6 Labor Delivery Recovery suites.
The hospital was designed to expand both vertically and horizontally in the future, and has the ability to double in bed capacity.
