Size: 29,125 SF
Market: Healthcare
Services: Architecture, Interiors
Scope: New Freestanding Emergency Center
Swedish Southwest Emergency Center provides full-service emergency care to the residents of Jefferson County, Colorado and the southwest metropolitan Denver area.
This community-based free-standing facility allows for advanced emergency care “close to home,” while reducing the number of visits to Swedish Medical Center’s main campus emergency department. The Center offers the benefits of immediate intervention for emergencies in which treatment time is critical.
With 18 examination/treatment rooms, including five holding/ observation rooms this facility provides diagnostic imaging services including CT Scan, radiography, ultrasound, stress testing and laboratory services. Scans and X-rays are digitally transferred to the main campus and physicians’ offices for shared viewing. The facility is designed to allow patients to flow immediately into examination rooms through the walk-in entrance or through a separate ambulance entrance. An on-site helipad allows air transfer capabilities to Swedish Medical Center, should the need arise.
